How do I use my yoni steam kit?

To help you use your kit I have prepared an explanatory video available below (video en french, use translate options to have subtitles in english) :

Directions for use:

1. Pour 3 tablespoons of herb mixture into 1 litre of water.
2. Boil the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Stop cooking and wait 5 minutes for the solution to cool slightly.
4. Pour the solution into the bowl.
5. Always check the temperature of the preparation by passing your hand over the bowl (in particular to prevent and avoid any risk of burning).
   The session should not exceed 20 minutes.

What are the contraindications to the use of a yoni steam kit?

• Pregnancy: Yoni steaming could be dangerous for pregnant women as it could affect the development of the foetus and cause complications.
• Active vaginal infections: To use a yoni steam kit during an infection may worsen symptoms and prolong the duration of the infection.
• Menstruation: Yoni steaming during menstruation is generally not recommended as it may disrupt the natural balance and cleansing process of the vagina.
• Open wounds or irritations: People with open wounds, cuts or irritations in the vaginal area should avoid yoni steaming, as it may aggravate the situation and cause pain.
• Wearing an intrauterine device (IUD): Women with IUDs should not use a yoni steam kit as it could potentially displace or damage the device.
